01

General Rules

These rules apply to every member of the Evolution Games community.

01.01 Respect Everyone

Treat all users, creators, developers and team members with respect. Personal disputes should be handled privately and must not disrupt the community.

01.02 Follow Staff Instructions

Official instructions from moderators and administrators must be followed. If you disagree with a moderation decision, contact the staff privately instead of creating unnecessary public conflict.

01.03 No Unnecessary Pinging

Do not repeatedly mention users, roles or staff members without a legitimate reason. Mass mentions and unnecessary notifications are prohibited.

01.04 Appropriate Nicknames

Nicknames must not impersonate another user, staff member or public figure. Names consisting exclusively of special characters or emojis may also be changed by staff.

Community Conduct

02.01 Harassment & Bullying

Harassment, bullying, targeted abuse, intimidation and repeated personal attacks are prohibited.

02.02 Discrimination

Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, religious discrimination and other forms of hateful behavior are not tolerated.

02.03 Extremist Content

Extremist propaganda, extremist recruitment, glorification of extremist organizations and content promoting violence are prohibited.

02.04 Spam

Message spam, repeated characters, excessive reactions, sound spam and channel flooding are prohibited.

02.05 Advertising

Advertising other Discord servers, projects, games, services, donation campaigns or personal businesses is prohibited unless explicitly authorized by Evolution Games staff. This also applies to unsolicited advertising through direct messages.

Voice Chat & Communication

03.01 Music & Sounds

Music, microphones, soundboards and other loud audio may only be used when the users present in the channel are comfortable with it.

03.02 Screaming & Audio Abuse

Screaming into microphones, intentionally creating extremely loud sounds or repeatedly disturbing voice channels is prohibited.

03.03 Recording

Recording conversations, voice channels or livestreams requires the knowledge and consent of the people involved.

03.04 Streaming

Streaming movies or television shows without appropriate rights is prohibited. Streams must comply with applicable copyright rules.

Content & Creator Rules

04.01 NSFW Content

Pornographic, sexually explicit or excessively sexual content is prohibited within the Evolution Games community.

04.02 Illegal Content

Content that facilitates illegal activities, serious violence, exploitation or abuse is prohibited.

04.03 Copyright

Do not upload, distribute or claim ownership of content belonging to another creator without permission.

04.04 Malicious Projects

Projects must not contain malware, hidden malicious functions, unauthorized data collection or mechanisms intended to damage another user's device or account.

Security & Privacy

05.01 Scams & Fraud

Scamming, fraud, fake giveaways, deceptive offers and attempts to steal another user's property or account are strictly prohibited.

05.02 Personal Information

Never publish, threaten to publish or distribute another person's private information without their permission.

05.03 Phishing

Phishing links, fake login pages, token theft, credential theft and account takeover attempts are strictly prohibited.

05.04 Unauthorized Access

Attempting to access private channels, accounts, systems or content without authorization is prohibited.

06

Game Rules

06.01 Exploits

Exploiting bugs or unintended mechanics to gain an unfair advantage is prohibited.

06.02 Cheats

Unauthorized cheats, client modifications, memory manipulation and similar methods of gaining an unfair advantage are prohibited.

06.03 Crashing & Disruption

Intentionally crashing games, creating lag machines or deliberately disrupting gameplay is prohibited.

06.04 Bug Reporting

Serious bugs and security vulnerabilities should be reported to the development team privately and responsibly.

07

Staff & Moderation

07.01 Moderator Decisions

Moderators may take action when necessary to protect the community, even when a situation is not explicitly described by a specific rule.

07.02 Moderator Abuse

Staff members must not abuse their permissions, target users unfairly or use moderation tools for personal reasons.

07.03 Appeals

Users may appeal moderation actions through the official support channels. Public arguments about punishments should be avoided.

Temporary Channels

08.01 Purpose

Temporary voice channels are intended for the duration of the relevant conversation or activity.

08.02 Channel Controls

Where available, creators may receive limited moderation and editing permissions within their temporary channel.

08.03 Disconnecting Users

Removing another user from a temporary channel should only be done for a legitimate reason and, where appropriate, after a warning. Disconnecting users for fun or harassment is prohibited.

Rule Enforcement

Punishments depend on the severity, context and history of a violation. Staff may skip or increase punishments when circumstances require it.

Staff reserve the right to take immediate action against severe threats to the safety, security or integrity of the Evolution Games community.
